About My Project

The Mission:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on your part).

Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple goals such as new year's resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organising and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.

Website Info:
This website is simple to navigate around. To view my 101 Goals list, click here. When I complete a task in full or in part (such as visiting one state instead of 50 as a whole), I will make a new post. The posts can be viewed by clicking on the task/book/movie/state. I will describe in detail how and when the task was completed as well as throw in some comments about its difficulty or lack thereof.

# 47. Kill MySpace

I have officially killed my MySpace on 29 January 2007, allowing for the 48 hours required to occur, leaving my MySpace dead as of the last day of the month. No more security risks, hassles, frustrations, or annoyances in the online social community for me anymore ;-). You should do the same! Eliminate all of the numerous "unexpected errors" that occur in a single session! Don't allow for the spam to get the best of you! Don't deal with many advertisements that lag every page! You no longer have to deal with all of the profile pages that are far from W3C compliance! I actually feel relieved upon its death.

One down, 100 more!

Stay classy, fellow bloggers.
