About My Project

The Mission:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on your part).

Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple goals such as new year's resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organising and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.

Website Info:
This website is simple to navigate around. To view my 101 Goals list, click here. When I complete a task in full or in part (such as visiting one state instead of 50 as a whole), I will make a new post. The posts can be viewed by clicking on the task/book/movie/state. I will describe in detail how and when the task was completed as well as throw in some comments about its difficulty or lack thereof.

Evans|Blue

Today I went to see Evans|Blue in concert. They sound similar to Breaking Benjamin. Jeremy, a friend of mine from work, got the tickets for free for joining Chase's +1 Facebook group. Fair to Midland preluded, along with Framing Hanley. Framing Hanley was ok, but I really enjoyed watching Fair to Midland. In fact, I bought Fair to Midlands album after listening (over Amazon, not at the concert.) I probably won't hear anything from Evans|Blue again, but the concert overall wasn't bad. It was in the bar at The Rave and there were only some fifty people there. It was pretty small.

At any rate, this makes concert number five.

Stay classy, fellow bloggers!
