Today I completed task number 49. I argued with a catholic priest about religion. I went to St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Port Washington, Wisconsin with my girlfriend. During the service, there was a man who wished to be served communion as he knelt before the priest. Everyone else stood. The priest skipped the man, time and time again. That man knelt there before the whole congregation for the remainder of the service. I asked the priest afterward why he had skipped him. (I was looking for an argument.) The priest replied in a nervous and shaky voice (I don't know him personally so this may be completely natural and normal for him.) The bishops of America said it was not right for communion to be taken by kneeling, only by standing. I then asked if the man was going to heaven. The priest didn't reply. He began to act as though my questions were annoying him, for which I don't blame him. Nonetheless, the method in which a man receives communion has not been restricted by God, only by man and because of this, his jurisdiction over this man's right to communion was completely ungodly and unjust. He is not God and does not have the right to decide for this man what is right or wrong.
Two down, 99 more!

About My Project
The Mission:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.
The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on your part).
Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple goals such as new year's resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organising and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.
Website Info:
This website is simple to navigate around. To view my 101 Goals list, click here. When I complete a task in full or in part (such as visiting one state instead of 50 as a whole), I will make a new post. The posts can be viewed by clicking on the task/book/movie/state. I will describe in detail how and when the task was completed as well as throw in some comments about its difficulty or lack thereof.
